Dr. Linda Osborne has owned Tri-County Small Animal Hospital since 1995. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, and emergency medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, and the Knoxville Veterinary Medical Association.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Cell Biology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and later graduated with her DVM degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Growing up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Dr. Osborne was inspired to pursue veterinary medicine by two things: Her grandfather, who owned a dairy farm in North Carolina, and her experience at eight years old of the local veterinarian helping her family’s dachshund deliver 14 puppies.
Dr. Osborne shares her home with two dogs, Osito, a Lab mix, and Buddy, a Husky mix. Cats Venus and Serena round out the family, but they enjoy the life of pampered clinic cats. In her free time, she enjoys bicycling, walking, hiking, traveling, and singing in groups.
